I really enjoy working with people and helping them connect with themselves. I believe that when we feel more comfortable in our own skin, we can tap into our personal power and intuition more easily. I work with clients of all ages, from babies to the elderly.
I'm excited to support you on your journey.
Personalized bodywork that includes manual therapies like fascial massage and structural integration can help you prepare for and recover from life. The pressure is adjusted to the needs of the individual. Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy
BDCST is a gentle treatment that helps the nervous system be healthy. With good listening, the body starts to relax and gets rid of tension and memories of bad times in the past. Clients stay in their clothes during these sessions.
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy can help with stress and anxiety, feeling overwhelmed emotionally, and going through major life changes like moving or becoming a parent.
Consistent sessions can help in many ways, including giving more energy, making you feel less stressed, helping your body to relax, and making you feel healthier overall. It can also help align your body without any manipulation from the outside. This therapy can support your mind and body in resolving trauma and injuries you have experienced in the past.
*most insurance companies do not cover bsct, and I am happy to provide a super bill after treatment.
Mother and Baby BCST
This work supports the emotional and physical health of both mom and baby before, during, and after pregnancy. When mom is emotionally resourced and physically healthy, it is easier for her to create a safe and nurturing space for her babies/children.
Pre-natal sessions can be based on BCST or a blend of therapeutic massage and craniosacral therapy.
Lisa offers sessions with the birth partner / other parent during which she teaches massage and somatic resourcing techniques that can support Mom and baby on birthing day.
When applied during the postpartum period, BCST helps with postpartum depression, birth trauma, body realignment, baby’s sleep and breastfeeding issues, colic, acid reflux, and more. First time clients, please schedule 90 a minute session.
Pediatric Craniosacral Therapy
Pediatric Craniosacral Therapy is a type of therapy that uses simple and effective techniques to support the balance of the child’s structure and nervous system. This therapy can also help resolve any traumatic issues from the birth and childhood experience.
Early intervention with this type of therapy can positively affect any developmental, structural, sensory, learning, behavioral, or personality disorders.
An injury, whether minor or significant, has the potential to impact an individual for their entire life. If we treat an individual early in life, we can prevent or resolve many conditions that can detract from who and what that individual can be.
This work is focused on the child, which means our first priority is making the child feel safe and trust us. This is important because often the child has experienced things that have made them feel unsafe, like being born or having medical procedures. When the child comes to see us, they might have physical problems but also be afraid because of past experiences. Our goal is to connect with the child in a way that they can get the most from the treatment. Pediatric Craniosacral Therapy not only helps the child but also helps those treating the child.
Some common problems that people seek bcst for for include: •Digestion issues •Sleep issues •Anxiety •Accidents & Physical Trauma •Atlas / Occiput Compression / headaches •Attention Issues/ (ADD/ADHD) •Autism •Behavioral Problems /ODD
